Hefner Scholars

Our Hefner Scholars are honorees of the Robert & MeiLi Hefner Foundation’s "Hefner Initiative - USA/ China/ Asia" program.

 
Huang Huannan, Hefner Scholar
Beijing High School No. 4, 2019
Huannan is a member of the graduating class of 2020 of BHSF. He enjoys studying mathematics and economics and playing badminton. 

 
 
 
Liang Jiacheng, Hefner Scholar
Beijing High School No. 4, 2019
Jiacheng is a member of the graduating class of 2020 of BHSF. He is a member of the Study Department of the Student Union as well as the Math Club and the Coding Club.
 
 
 
Xie Anqi, Hefner Scholar
Beijing High School No. 4, 2019
Anqi is a member of the graduating class of 2020 of BHSF. She is the President of the Student Union and the Founder of Eagle News. She enjoys playing soccer, basketball and lacrosse.
 
 
 
Zhou Jingyi, Hefner Scholar

Jingyi is a member of the graduating class of 2020 of BHSF. She enjoys art and is the President of the Coding Club and a member of the Biology Club and the Physics Club.
 

 
 
Juliana Base, Hefner Scholar
The Webb Schools, 2018
Juliana is a member of the 2019 graduating class of the Vivian Webb School.  She enjoys martial arts, basketball, football, and other sports. She is a member of the Paleontology Club and the recipient of the Rogers Peccary Scholar Award for her contributions to the Raymond Alf Museum of Paleontology.
 
Jaden Dumont, Hefner Scholar
The Webb Schools, 2018
Jaden is a member of the 2019 graduating class of the Webb School of California. He is a member of the cross country, water polo, tennis, and basketball teams and won a Gold Medal in the National Spanish Exam in 2016.
 

 

Alejandro Lozano-De Aos, Hefner Scholar
Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics, 2018
Alejandro is a member of the 2019 graduating class of OSSM. He is the lead guitarist in the Jazz Band and enjoys Robotics and volunteering at the Oklahoma City Veterans Administration Medical Center.
 


Attaira Prince, Hefner Scholar
Oklahoma School of Science and Mathematics, 2018
Attaira is a member of the 2019 graduating class of OSSM. She enjoys doing community service and studying American Sign Language and is a member of the organization Women in STEM.
