And no, we don’t know where it will lead. We just know there’s something much bigger than any of us here.”

The Robert & MeiLi Hefner Foundation has partnered with Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government in Public Policy, Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and The Webb Schools, over the years to establish and promote their common interests of leadership in public policy and creative thinking.
The Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs is the hub of Harvard Kennedy School’s research, teaching, and training in international security and diplomacy, environmental and resource issues, and science and technology policy. The Center has a dual mission: to provide leadership in advancing policy-relevant knowledge about the most important challenges of international security and other critical issues where science, technology, environmental policy, and international affairs intersect; and to prepare future generations of leaders for these arenas. Through publications and policy discussions, workshops, seminars, and conferences, the Center promotes innovative solutions to significant national and international challenges.
