Two Juniors were recently selected to travel abroad to Singapore and China for an approximate two-week program this summer. Through an international program called the Hefner Initiative, high school students learn more about the global relationship between China and the United States in order to promote cultural awareness in younger generations. Sponsored by the Robert & MeiLi Hefner Foundation, Andrew Chang and Austin Fehr will continue to build positive relations between China and the United States during their trip in July.
